| On the 21st of May 2006 in
Mü's Oenot in Affoltern a.A. the combination of |
| fashion-show and wine
degustation resulted in totally sensuous experience. As |
| in th 60's, the outfits were
presented with a live commentary to tell the respective |
| stories of the clothes and
wines to the guests. The collection was completely |
| dedicated to wine. Wines that
can surprise, wines that give warmth an tenderness, |
| wines that can be like a
woman: young or mature, elegant or extravagant. For |
| this collection I created a
unique technique for forming spiral bands inspired by the |
| tendrils of the grape
vines.This technique needs a minimum of 120 workinghours
|
| for one outfit. The thin
strips of material were sewn together, of course, by hand. |

Am 21. Mai 2006 in
Mü's Vinotheke in Affoltern a.A. im Zusammenspiel mit einer
|
|
Weindegustation wurde dieser
Anlass zu einem rundum sinnlichen Erlebnis. Wie in |
|
den 60er Jahren wurden die
Kleider life kommentiert, um die jeweiligen Geschichten
|
|
den Gästen näher zu bringen. Die
Kollektion ist ganz dem Wein gewidmet. Der Wein, |
|
der überraschen kann, der Wärme
und Zärtlichkeit geben kann. Der Wein, der wie |
|
eine Frau sein kann: jung oder
reif, elegant oder extravagant... |
|
Für diese Kollektion habe ich
eine spezielle Bindetechnik erfunden, die an die Ranken |
|
der Rebe erinnert. Mit dieser
Technik des Umschlagens, braucht man für ein Kleid |
|
mindestens 120 Arbeitsstunden.
Die dünnen Stoffstreifen wurden Reihe für Reihe |
|
umgebunden und selbstverständlich
von Hand zusammengenäht. |
