| Haute
Couture is something really exclusive. It follows |
| the
dictates of the imagination and its conversion into |
| art. |
|
| I am an
artist in many senses, a sculptor of forms, a |
| painter of
coulors, an architect, of the cut, a musician for harmony, a philosopher
of |
| style and
an actress for presentation. It is very important for me to feel the
material |
| with my
fingers, to have a picture in my head. It is my soul, my philosophy not
only to |
| design, but
with needle and thread to find myself new ways when thousands of others |
| make the
same steps. Can you imagine that a sculptor only makes a sketch and then
|
| has some
one else make the sculpture for him? |

| My
principles are to wear only my own creations every day and only to show
photos |
| from real
life. In this way I provoke my environment and fight against the wearing
of |
| black and
jeans. |
|
| I have my
own style of cutting. Often without side seams and hem-lines, but made |
| with
hundreds of small knots to form folds and drapes, or for the love of
geometry, |
| made from
only one piece of fabric. All this gives what appears to be, at first
sight, |
| just a
normal elegant dress with an extraordinary and extravagant touch. |

This is all done without
using a sewing-machine. Every single seam, every frill, |
|
ruffle, hem-line, every
pearl is sewed and stiched by hand. For hours, for days, |
|
for weeks. For my creations
I use only natural materials like silk, wool, cashmere |
|
and angora. Feminine
straight lines, clear sihlhouttes dominate, always combined |
|
with a bag and a hat made
from the same fabric as the outfit, without too much |
|
glitter. I create a very
chic but wearable garderobe. |
|

My fashion has nothing to
do with trends and mass fashion. These dresses are |
